Pacific Coast Terminals (PCT) follows security procedures in accordance with the requirements of the ISPS Code and Marine Transportation Security Regulations as laid out by Transport Canada. These procedures apply to all people entering the site.
Failure to abide by these measures may result in the loss of access privileges.
IMO – ISPS Compliance
Pacific Coast Terminals is in all respects compliant with the ISPS Code and is on the approved facility list from the IMO. Transport Canada has approved PCT’s Marine Facility Security Plan and has issued PCT with a Statement of Compliance of a Port Facility.
Marsec Levels
Since July 1, 2004, PCT along with the rest of the Port of Vancouver, has adopted the new ISPS marine security levels, from Marsec 1 (lowest security risk) to Marsec 3 (highest security risk).
The current Marsec level will be always displayed at both berth gates and the main site gate. In the event the site Marsec level is increased, the sign will be updated, and you will be notified of the change.
Our terminal operates two berths; one for loading bulk liquids and the other for loading bulk sulphur and potash. Following is information you need to berth at our terminal.
