Pacific Coast Terminals participates in Green Marine certification, the leading voluntary environmental certification program for the North American maritime industry. The program provides ports, terminals, ship owners, and shipyards with a framework to measure and continuously improve environmental performance beyond regulatory requirements.
Green Marine evaluates participants across a range of environmental performance indicators, including air emissions, community impacts, operational practices, waste management, and environmental leadership. Each indicator is assessed on a five-level scale, ranging from Level 1 (monitoring and regulatory compliance) to Level 5 (excellence and industry leadership). All results are independently verified as part of the program’s certification process.
Participation in Green Marine allows Pacific Coast Terminals to benchmark performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and strengthen environmental stewardship across its operations.
