Glycol Expansion Project Completion

Pacific Coast Terminals (PCT) and MEGlobal Canada ULC are excited to announce the completion of our $20.4 Million expansion project.

We have added 10 advanced unloading racks to facilitate Monoethylene Glycol (MEG) offloading and export to global markets. Glycol is a vital commodity with applications for clothing, eco-friendly beverage bottles, and antifreeze for your car. The addition of two modern unloading tracks has significantly elevated our glycol capacity from 800,000 metric tonnes to 1.25 Million metric tonnes annually, and increases the efficiency of our railcar traffic. In addition to this operational enhancement, the project has generated four new full-time positions at PCT, aligning with our commitment to both efficiency and employment growth. This achievement reflects our dedication to advancing infrastructure and fostering economic development.
