The channel dredging project at PCT is entering a monitoring stage after having completed the dredging and berm maintenance activities in September this year. All the material that was dredged from the navigational channel and the turning basin has been placed behind the under water retention berm where it will remain. While no further dredging is currently planned, PCT has applied for and received a Disposal at Sea permit to conduct limited additional dredging activities should monitoring show that additional work is required.
We would like to thank the local residents and the users of the inlet as we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this project.
